Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, dropping points after twice falling behind at Anfield.
Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday, August 29, 2026, as the Reds twice had to come from behind to salvage a point.
The result will be a frustrating one for Liverpool, who dominated periods of possession but were unable to find a winning goal against a well-organised Forest side. The draw disrupts what had been a positive start to the season for the champions.
Forest, who have shown steady improvement this season, will take confidence from securing a point against one of the league's traditional heavyweights. Liverpool will look to bounce back in their next fixture.
